Principal Software Engineer

Your role at Dynatrace

• Develop the tool for monitoring customers’ application environment

• Build an application that works both in multi-cloud and on-premises environments

• Brainstorm on architecture and quality to effectively deliver a high-quality product

• Share your knowledge and experience with us and feel the impact you can have on the product and company

• Influence team stakeholders into business decisions that would create the most value for the company

• Being a role model in guiding other engineers into growth mindset

What will help you succeed

• A solid foundation in object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms

• Solid Java or C++ knowledge, with professional experience in development and architectural design

• Open-minded attitude, with a willingness to learn new technologies and practices

• Experience with test-driven development, clean code, design patterns, etc.

• Experience in developing distributed and multi-tier applications

• Good English communication

• Excellent teamwork and a proactive approach

• Analytical thinking and excellent problem-solving

• Experience with Python, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies is not essential but would be an advantage

• Experience in managing database systems, both SQL and No-SQL would be an advantage

• Experience as a technical product owner, tech lead or similar role would be an advantage
