Senior Java Engineer & Product Owner (m/f/x)

Your role at Dynatrace

  • Together with your team, you own core components of the Davis Causal AI

  • Support and accompany your development team throughout the entire software development lifecycle, focusing on backend engineering and microservices architecture 

  • Act as a gatekeeper for your team, serving as the interface between them and other stakeholders, including Product Owners, Product Engineers, Product Managers, and Architects. 

  • Manage and prioritize the team backlog in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring the content and conceptual integrity of the backlog. 

  • Create meaningful user stories that are well-formed, aligned with product strategy, and clarify story details. 

  • Contribute your deep technical expertise and architectural understanding in discussions with your team and stakeholders. 

  • Drive the quality of the team's components through health monitoring, performance tests, and proactive maintenance. 

  • Promote the creation of a collaborative network by connecting with Product Owners from other teams and working on related technical components. This network enhances decision-making and fosters effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. 

What will help you succeed

  • Technical degree related to software engineering (or a related field) 

  • Several years of experience in software development (preferably with Java) and in a product owner role. 

  • Excited to learn new technologies and eager to dive deep into the product ecosystem of the market-leading observability platform. 

  • Team player and proactive person of action with outstanding communication and analytical skills. 

  • Being able to express ideas and share concepts fluently in English. 

  • Nice-to-have: Experience with Microservice architecture, Kubernetes, Kafka, Spring

Compensation Data

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
