Job Description

Fast Growing Software company is seeking a proven and dynamic player to serve as our Senior Analyst Global Procurement, IT & Software supporting Business Systems (infrastructure) & Employee Digital Enablement (personal systems). This role will help to further develop a centralized procurement function as well as enhance our processes and internal controls. You will be the main point of contact with the business leaders owning the majority of the IT & Software spend. This individual will build a high level of business acumen with a desire to partner with business leadership and assist as they scale their functions to support our growing business. You will work cross functionally with technical teams to understand requirements and build forecasts to optimize future spend. Selecting and manage vendors; create and run sourcing events for best pricing and terms, negotiate pricing and be involved in creating contracts, are all important traits to be successful in the role.

  • Strong relationship-builder who can engage internally and externally to ensure that business needs are met quickly and efficiently. 

  • Must love data and be able to develop and formulate data to confirm business needs and support KPIs (key performance indicators).  

  • Demonstrable experience in project management, timeline development and notable achievement. 

  • Must have exceptional organization and communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated experience in Procure to Pay, Sourcing, Contracting, and Supplier Management modules 

  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and handle multiple tasks in parallel 

  • Must have proven track record of participating in negotiations for all types of IT & Software Category spend.  

  • Possess the ability to facilitate working sessions with business stakeholder leads to define business requirements and design leading practice solutions 

  • Understanding of Sourcing and Procurement leading practices and the ability to communicate at a strategic and operational level 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute sourcing & negotiation strategies for your designated categories. 

  • Define category strategies and execute sourcing strategies in line with overall category strategy through analyzing external and internal analysis and total cost of ownership modeling 

  • Document and share best practice methods, processes, policies, and ideas across the business functions; drive innovative thinking and process development throughout the organization. 

  • Evaluating supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models and bench-marking analysis. 

  • Ability to create a supplier management program to monitor and track supplier performance using SLA’s & KPI’s 

  • Managing sourcing and supplier engagement activities including RFx, spend pattern analysis, contract analysis, bid evaluation, negotiations, QBR’s and supplier consolidation. 

  • Participate in Implementation of supplier selection processes, supplier consolidation and overall supplier performance metrics, using optimized spend analytics. 

  • Provides fact-based insights based on qualitative and quantitative data sets to support recommendations.  

  • This role will be highly impactful to the business, driving process and procedure changes to create a more effective and efficient supply chain organization 

  • Lead strategic projects to drive best practices in sourcing, negotiation & supplier management 


  • Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement. 

  • Minimum of two years of experience at a manager level position managing a procurement department 

  • Goal to become the SME for the IT Categories & work as an integral part of the Business Systems (infrastructure) & Employee Digital Enablement (personal systems). You should expect to become an important team member to the business leadership. 

  • Experience working at a Global level. 

  • Ability to work in a fast-scaling organization that has been growing +30% yr. over yr. 

  • Proven track record leading utilizing data and metric driven performance improvements. 

  • Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and implement the complete procurement process, system, and structure for excellence in a fast pace complex environment. 

  • Enlist strong process and project management skills/ability to manage change. 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; must be comfortable connecting with and communicating with individuals at all levels of an organization. 

  • Basic understanding of NetSuite/ERP systems.  

  • Travel - < 5%
