Treasury Operations Specialist (EMEA)

Your role at Dynatrace

Reporting to the Treasury Operations Manager, the Treasury Operations Specialist (EMEA) is responsible for the Treasury Operations in existing and new Dynatrace EMEA entities administered from the UK office (currently 18 entities and growing).

 

Expanding the Treasury Team due to company growth, the team consists of two who will work closely with the Accounting, AP, AR, and Payroll Teams. This role will be responsible for all daily bank processes, assisting and covering the Treasury Manager for all the Dynatrace’s EMEA banking, preparer of payments from the banking platforms, ensuring that controls are maintained such that payments are only made once appropriate approvals have been received.

 

Provide support to the Treasury Manager by collaborating with the Accounting Team, Accounts Payable Manager, Accounts Receivable Manager, Payroll Manager and Financial Reporting Manager to ensure cashflows are monitored and projected cashflows are reported to the Group Treasury function.

 

This will be a hybrid role, working 3 days a week from our Maidenhead Office. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Proposal and instigating improvements & implementing Treasury policies and procedures

  • Assist in the projected and actual cashflows, working with relevant teams to obtain all inputs and report to Treasury Manager.

  • Prepare payments, including foreign currencies from the banking portals once sufficient approval has been evidenced (payments approved by Accounting Director or Senior Finance Director)

  • Daily bank to book reconciliations, including raising related journal entries for manual payments, and ensuring AP and AR have completed their entries

  • Liaising with bank relations to resolve any queries.

  • Reviewing and maintain the pending banking GL account.

  • Developing training guides for current processes and proposing any improvements.  

  • Assist with internal audit, external audit, and internal control queries and process implementation as needed

  • Integral role in development, testing, and implementation of improvements on the processes that impact Treasury Operations, ensuring adequate controls are in place to meet audit and SOX requirements, efficiency is achieved, productivity is increased, and quality is not compromised

    What we’re looking for:

    • Experience of managing relationships with numerous banking providers, including non-UK banks

    • Multi country, multi-currency experience essential

    • Technology industry and/or fast growth industry experience would be advantageous

    • Knowledge of SOX compliance would be advantageous

    • Strong communication skills

    • Deadline driven with excellent attention to detail and a self-starter

    • Excellent organisational and administrative skills

    • Strong excel skills and ability to manipulate data
