Security Researcher (m/f/x)
Your role at Dynatrace
Conduct in-depth research and analysis of novel attack techniques and exploits, independently and as part of a team
Investigate known exploits and threats, analyzing the techniques employed for further understanding
Build test environments to simulate attacks and exploits in a controlled lab setting, enabling thorough analysis and detection
Stay abreast of the latest trends in TTPs, APTs, and emerging exploits and attack campaigns
Analyze collected data and develop proof-of-concept detection methods to enhance our security capabilities
Perform comprehensive coverage and gap analysis of our Dynatrace AppSec products
Design and implement relevant tooling to automatically analyze and extract threat intelligence data
Collaborate and maintain effective communication with research and product teams to drive improvements and ensure alignment
Showcase your research findings by presenting them in blog posts and at prestigious external conferences such as BlackHat, DefCon, RSA, and more
What will help you succeed
BS/MS in Computer Science, Cyber-Security or a related field
Good understanding of cyber-attack techniques and threat intelligence
Experience in exploiting known vulnerabilities
Experience in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, TypeScript
Familiar with Linux and Windows operating systems
Great communication skills when it comes to presenting and discussing research results with stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation and rewards
We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 45,500 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualification and experience.
