Job Description

We are seeking a transformational leader to manage our high-growth Partner Sales Development Rep team. The Partner Sales Development Representative is responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities through Dynatrace Partners. The Partner Sales Development Representative will work closely with the Partner Sales team and with Partner Marketing to generate demand and qualify opportunities. We seek a leader who can bring out the best of our world-class team through training/development programs, building out and managing to success metrics, driving the team to exceed new logo qualified opportunity quotas and build out future sales talent pipeline. This role reports to our Director Partner Marketing and requires strong leadership presence and the ability to maintain strategic partnerships across the organization.


  • Ensure every Partner-SDR is executing daily on best practice  “cookbook” and process to achieve results.

  • Qualify leads and prospects based on defined criteria. 

  • Profile assigned accounts and drive outbound prospecting to generate new business. 

  • Inspire and lead the Partner-SDR team to maximize their potential and professional growth. 

  • Implement aPartner-SDR training/enablement curriculum ensuring new hires are onboarded successfully and training needs are fulfilled for the existing team members. 

  • Engage with defined roles and personas at Partner accounts as part of lead development and qualification including Client Partners, Sales, Sales Engineers, Architects, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineers, Performance Engineers, Practice owners, and Product and Portfolio management 

  • Conduct research on accounts by using Google, LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, Jigsaw and other tools. 

  • Develop an understanding of the account’s business issues and other relevant information. 

  • Execute database and telemarketing programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and to create awareness for current product promotions to target audiences. 

  • Educate prospects about the Dynatrace platform and map to solutions and use cases that partners offer 

  • Use Salesforce.com CRM to track activities. 

  • Attend weekly territory forecast meetings and update team on progress of identified activities. 

  • Provide input and ideas to marketing including feedback on quality of leads from marketing programs. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field. 

  • Management experience required

  • Understanding of IT operations management, solutions a plus. 

  • Experience using a CRM, (Salesforce.com preferred). 

  • College diploma/university degree or equivalent experience. 

  • High level of commitment to exceptional customer service and relationships. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Strong problem solving, organizational and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work both individually and in a team environment. 

  • Self-motivated and competitive with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
