To power digital services, organizations are shifting from traditional on-premises data centers to multicloud environments with Kubernetes as the orchestration layer. These environments are dynamic, with applications, microservices, containers, and infrastructure coming and going in seconds, and a volume, velocity, and variety of data that’s beyond human capacity to manage. We are not only required to process data on a massive scale but also to think about scalability, starting from down to the level of processing these amounts of data.
Taking ownership of product components, implementing new features, maintaining them, and keeping your team’s technical debt small
Dealing with complexities in Cloud, CI/CD, Java, and TypeScript, so that the overall technology stack becomes accessible also for more junior engineers
Driving architectural and design decisions regarding components owned by your team
Staying on top of technology trends and assessing them for impact on owned components
Adopt new cloud technologies and best practices to improve product quality and team performance
Collaborating on managing the team’s backlog, making sure implemented technologies align with business goals
Mentoring more junior and new team members to help them grow as engineers
5+ years of experience in software development, e.g., with Java, C#, TypeScript, or other high-level languages, including architectural design experience
Technical studies related to software engineering (or similar)
Experience with test-driven development, clean code, and design patterns
Profound knowledge and experience with agile development, CI/CD, and modern DevOps/Automation processes
Know-how in Kubernetes or Cloud Engineering is an advantage
Naturally passing on knowledge and experience to fellow team members
Hands-on team player applying high-quality standards
Excited to learn new technologies

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment (38.5 h/week). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
