Director, Business Relationships – Quote to Cash (Remote, United States)

We are hiring a Director, Business Relationships – Quote to Cash to have global responsibility for driving the successful execution of technology initiatives for the Quote to Cash workstream within Dynatrace. This position reports to the VP, Business Systems and is the connective tissue bringing together cross-functional teams to drive alignment and delivery of technology solutions with a focus on driving value and enabling achievement of business goals. Partnering closely with executive leadership, departmental operations, Business Systems, and R&D you will develop capability roadmaps and plans that support the company and operational strategy, create and/or assess business cases for technology initiatives, and manage the execution of these initiatives. The successful candidate will possess deep operational knowledge in the SaaS based Quote to Cash workstream, strong technical acumen, and expert ability to partner and drive alignment to support solving business challenges through the use of technology. The ability to communicate effectively to both the business and technology teams is critical– and be able to do so at operational and executive levels.

Your role at Dynatrace

  • Be a leader, advisor, and influencer for Dynatrace’s Quote to Cash cycle.

  • Build strong cross-functional relationships to surface and shape demand, and support high velocity delivery of value

  • Develop deep domain knowledge of Dynatrace’s Quote to Cash function and drive business value through the use of technology

  • Develop roadmaps, technology vision, and execution plans in close partnership with executive, business, IT and R&D leadership, with a focus on value over solutions

  • Establish a governance and communication framework for effective and efficient alignment, oversight, and key decision making with executives and functional leadership

  • Partner closely with technology delivery and business intelligence teams to assess intake, plan demand, execute delivery of initiatives, and ensure realization of value

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to ensure end to end business processes are aligned, modern and efficient (ensure operational teams are not working in silos)

  • Identify and drive removal of roadblocks with urgency

  • Support enablement and change management activities

  • Evaluate vendors and functionality for fit in the Dynatrace environment

  • People management responsibilities for project/program managers and Business Relationship Managers

  • Partner with leaders inside and outside the organization to keep a pulse on upcoming business needs, trends, and common business practices of our peers in the SaaS industry, using this knowledge to guide innovation opportunities

  • Champion a culture of shared ownership, constant transformation, and urgency

What will help you succeed

Minimum Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant functional experience in a SaaS business

  • 5+ years championing organizational change (leading initiatives, products, services)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of core applications; CRM, CPQ and ERP  (Salesforce & NetSuite)

  • Proven track record of successful cross-functional project execution with agile methodology

  • Proven track record working in a fast-paced and agile team, focused on strong execution

  • Experience facilitating Business Intelligence, KPIs, operational metrics

  • Executive presence and excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills

  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a concise easy to follow manner essential

  • Ability to listen, build rapport, and develop credibility as a strategic partner

  • Exude energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy

  • Master of relationship building and team collaboration

  • Ability to break down silos

  • Be able to shift opinions using influence over positional power

  • Quick learner with ability to figure things out with minimal supervision and adjust to changing priorities on the fly.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

DOE, salary $160K - $210K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
