We are seeking a talented and experienced engineer with Platform Engineering mindset to join our team and lead the implementation of Kafka, PostgeSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, and Vault deployment on top of Kubernetes across the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform) using managed services. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of stream data processing, SQL databases, and caching systems, with a strong background in implementing and managing complex environments.
Your role at Dynatrace
Implement and maintain Kafka with a GitOps-based approach deployed across multiple environments.
Implement and maintain RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, Redis, and Vault
Collaborate with the platform infrastructure team to ensure communication and coordination through defined API interfaces
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SQL databases, caching systems, messaging, and secret management services
Continuously monitor and improve the performance, reliability, and security of the implemented services and associated tools.
What will help you succeed
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field or similar professional experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Platform engineering with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Vault, and/or PostgreSQL on Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure
Experience with deploying and managing related services and with Platform engineering practices
Proficient in at least one programming language (Java preferred).
Experience with Git, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, and Cloud Infrastructure.
Experience with Terraform and Crossplane is a plus
Good communication and collaboration skills with development teams and stakeholders.

Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 60,000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
