New Business Sales Director, APAC

You will be building and managing our Acquisition Sales team in APAC, and executing execute robust territory plans to maximise new logo acquisition and revenue. Our fast-paced Sales team is growing. We are seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial leader to build and manage our Acquisition Sales team in APAC. You’ll get the opportunity to build and execute robust territory plans to maximise new logo acquisition and revenue, into target large organisation prospects.

  • Develop proficiency of products and solutions offered by Dynatrace and articulation of business value.  

  • Actively recruit Account Executives and provide onboarding and support to accelerate development team’s productivity.

  • Coach and mentor team on sales strategies, negotiation and managing complex challenging sales cycles.

  • Support team in completion of organization mapping, buying influences, identification of key customer and buyer priorities.

  • Maintain accurate forecasting through weekly forecast meetings as well as monitor performance of team and determine effectiveness of sales strategy.

  • Deliver revenue targets – ensuring company revenue goals, and objectives are achieved.

  • Strategically partner with Marketing, Sales Engineers, Partner community, Customer Success and, other functional teams to determine the best approach to promoting Dynatrace Platform

What will help you succeed

  • 3 or more years experience managing a distributed team of quota carrying sales representatives within Enterprise Software/ SaaS industry.

  • Superior leadership skills and ability to attract talent, coach and mentor a team of high performing Account Executives distributed across different locations and cultures.

  • Experience in creating a repeatable process for team adoption for the creation of pipeline, its timely and precise management to ultimately generate sales revenues.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to coach sales executives.

  • History of attaining revenue and performance goals, including accuracy of forecasting.

  • Business and technical acumen in the IT management and multi-cloud space

  • Meet with prospects and strategize with sales representatives when negotiating and closing deals.

  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales report showing sales pipeline, potential sales, activities, and areas of proposed client base expansion.

  • Excellent and persuasive oral and written communication skills required.

  • Experience in building territory plans and long-term relationships, and ability to coach the team on its execution.

  • Builder of key relationships internally and innate ability to develop business champions.
