Your role at Dynatrace
Under the guidance of the Sr. Manager of Business Systems, you will play a key role in the configuration and design of Salesforce Revenue Cloud and its offerings. You will implement and maintain CPQ and Billing solutions that balance the business needs with the technical requirements ensuring end-user satisfaction and ease of integration with other enterprise systems.
As a Sr. Salesforce CPQ Business Analyst you will be responsible for various projects including the development, and maintenance of our CPQ and Billing implementation and driving a seamless Quote-to-Cash business process.
This is a cross-functional role where you will partner closely with Finance, Operations, and end-users to improve processes and workflows and develop new Revenue Cloud functionality. This position is ideal for an individual looking to drive scalable business systems for a fast growing company.
Responsibilities:
Configure and develop Salesforce CPQ & Billing using declarative solutions. Design, code, test, troubleshoot, debug and document solutions throughout the development process and across the Salesforce platform including Force.com, Billing, Einstein, Heroku, various managed packages, e.g. Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Financial Force and others.
In collaboration with business owners, develop an understanding of the business needs and requirements, providing CPQ & Billing expertise related to data, integration, security, and analytics.
Using technical knowledge of Dynatrace’s other business systems (NetSuite, Boomi, Jira), evaluate solution and design options and provide recommendations to solve for business needs, identifying pros and cons, and providing work effort estimates.
Contribute suggestions regularly to peer solution design process and team-based proof of concept and demonstrations providing expertise where needed. May lead design review at times.
Write comprehensive documentation on business requirements, process flows, technical objects and release step details (change controls, data migrations, and step-by-step order of operations) as well as configuration and solution design.
Using software development lifecycle (SLDC) principles and Agile methodology, be the CPQ & Billing subject matter expert participating in sprint planning, story estimation, solution and technical documentation as well as release planning and execution.
What will help you succeed
Minimum Requirements:
5+ years Business Analyst experience
5+ years experience with CPQ configuration (price rules, discount schedules)
Proficiency in various CPQ functionalities like QCP, perpetual and subscription-based licensing, Usage billing, amendments, co-terming and renewals.
Preferred Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Proven experience with Software-as-a-Services (SaaS) integrations and configuration, including security, using Workflow, Flow & Process Builder, transfer, load (ETL) processes.
Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) required. Participation and ownership of product execution with Agile/ Scrum methodology preferred
Ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions with a focus on data quality and implement them with other team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a concise easy-to-follow manner.
Quick learner with ability to solve problems expeditiously and understand impact to other environments.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision desired.
Salesforce CPQ certification highly preferred
Ideal candidates are located in the Northeast in the United States but open to candidates anywhere in the United States.
Position might be filled at a higher level based on candidate experience.

Compensation and rewards
The base salary range for this role is $114,000 to $141,000. When determining your salary, we consider your experience, skills and education, and work location.
Our total compensation package includes unlimited personal time off, an employee stock purchase plan, and a reward system.
