Support the daily operations of the revenue team to drive quality and efficiency
Support enhancement initiatives within the Order to Cash process
Support the revenue monthly and quarterly close procedures to ensure timely and accurate closing of the books for internal and external reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SOX requirements
Support acquisition integration from a revenue perspective, as necessary
Engage with Legal to ensure master agreements are clear of adversely impacting revenue terms
Collaborate with company’s global accounting teams to determine appropriate treatment of complex sales transactions
Perform reviews of revenue transactions for accounting compliance with applicable US GAAP
Manage the design and operations of internal controls and policies and procedures related to revenue recognition and monthly close and reporting processes.
Documentation and reconciliation of significant contracts executed throughout the quarter
Monthly analysis of actual revenue vs. forecast, budget and prior year
Development and maintenance of ASC 606 stand-alone selling price calculations
Prior ASC 606 experience required
Experience working for a publicly-traded company
CPA preferred, preferably with Big 4 Accounting Firm
Technical expertise in US GAAP with significant experience preparing and reviewing whitepapers
Prior experience in implementing and carrying out Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
Experience with SalesForce.com and NetSuite required
Demonstrable experience in project management, timeline development and achievement
Must have exceptional organization and communication skills
Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and business partnering skills with demonstrated ability to work cross functionally and at various levels within a company
Demonstrated ability to lead projects and implementation of revenue-related accounting standards along with related systems and processes
Excellent time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and operate with a sense of urgency, with self-starter orientation
