Job Description

Dynatrace is seeking an experienced marketing leader to drive the company’s industry marketing program. Reporting to the VP of Marketing for Communications, Content, and Industries, this individual will own the development of the company’s marketing strategy targeting organizations in the financial services, retail, technology, and government sectors, as a start. Responsibilities include building a team of industry marketing professionals, aligning with sales and marketing teams to establish bold yet attainable goals, and orchestrating campaigns to achieve desired and measurable business impact. 

Candidates must have exceptional cross-team collaboration, content creation, and campaign orchestration skills. In addition, they should possess a passion for working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and have a proven track record of delivering results and building high-performing teams. They should be a self-starter, results-oriented, and comfortable working within a global organization.  

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and implementing marketing campaigns for each target industry vertical 

  • Hiring and developing a dedicated team of industry-focused marketers who are deeply knowledgeable in one or more of our key verticals.  

  • Influencing the Dynatrace partner strategy around industry verticals 

  • Conceptualizing and creating content to support go-to-market, including core messaging documents, internal-facing sales assets and customer-facing materials, e.g. dynatrace.com. 

  • Working cross-functionally with Dynatrace marketing, product, partner, and sales teams 

  • Working with customers to ensure marketing programs align with desired business outcomes 

  • Developing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual business review rhythm 

  • Presenting strategy and results to Dynatrace executives 

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field 

  • MBA is a plus 

  • 10+ years’ relevant experience, ideally in the B2B, SaaS technology space 

  • Demonstrated expertise in industry marketing 

  • Team player experienced working in a global environment with teams spanning multiple geographies 

  • Solid executive presence – ability to uncover insights and present results to senior business leaders
