Job Description

The Sales Operations Analyst will be a member of the Data Strategy and Business Intelligence team within Sales Ops at Dynatrace, and will be part of a dynamic, fast paced organization experiencing rapid growth and success. 

Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly understand the sales organizations needs at a global scale and will be able to work with technical teams to implement and design datasets/dashboards to articulate business trends to non-technical users. The candidate will work frequently with Sales and operations leadership and Business Systems teams to leverage analytics and provide business insights to Executive leadership, Sales management, and internal operations. The role will act as a key business partner with Sales, Sales Operations, CRM, Business Systems, Finance, etc. 

Preferred locations are Massachusetts, or possibly Detroit, Michigan. This is a hybrid virtual/in-office role.

Your Highly Visible Role 

  • Work with stakeholders by conducting ad hoc reporting, supporting special projects, leveraging data to identify and tell a story around business performance 

  • Develop and publish reports utilizing Sigma, Salesforce, and Excel for monitoring and analyzing business performance 

  • Translate end-user requirements into technical specifications for development and BI teams 

  • Act as a resource for technical teams to validate and implement enhancements and improve processes 

  • Work with stakeholders to ensure quality and accuracy of data 

  • Provide training to stakeholders on how to access and use reports. 

  • Respond to feedback promptly and actively adjust reporting to better fit the needs of the business 

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve current operations reporting to improve efficiency and provide recommendations on new data to capture for future analysis 

  • Hybrid role, but seeking candidates commutable to the Waltham, MA office

Qualifications

Your Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of relevant Sales Operations or Finance experience in High Tech or Software organizations 

  • 2+ years of experience in analytics 

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher Preferably in Business, Finance, or Analytics 

  • Experience with Tabular-based reporting, Tabular Data Models 

  • Experience and proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, graphing, complex formulas, and Visual Basic macros 

  • High level of comfort navigating and leveraging Salesforce.com (or related CRM) 

  • Comprehensive grasp of data modeling and data visualization methods 

  • Knowledge of data gathering, cleaning and transforming techniques 

  • Ability to tell the business story through summarizing your data findings and contextual insights with the use of data visualization tools 

  • Demonstrated written and verbal presentation skills to present insights and compelling recommendations to a diverse and often senior audience 

  • Analytical mind with a problem-solving aptitude 

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy of results 

  • Proven track record of delivering timely and accurate results in a fast-paced environment
