Qualifications

  • Experience working with IBM z/OS. 

  • Knowledge in z/OS ecosystem and subsystem components such as: JES, DFSMS, WLM, DB2, CICS, RACF, SMF, SMP/E, VSAM, IMS, and USS. 

  • Networking fundamentals 

  • Proficient in use of systems tools and utilities such as JCL, TSO, SDSF, IDCAMS, SMF. 

  • 1+ years of related technical work experience (ex: development, support, etc.) 

  • Exposure to Java, .NET Development, or other programming languages 

  • Experience with software support and troubleshooting            

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience 

  • Bonus Skills 

  • Websphere Knowledge 

  • Open Telemetry Knowledge 

  • Mainframe monitoring knowledge/experience 

  • UNIX Knowledge
