Under the guidance of the Business System Manager, you will play a key role in the configuration and design of Salesforce.com and its offerings. You will implement and maintain Salesforce solutions that balance the business needs with the technical requirements ensuring end-user satisfaction and ease of integration with other enterprise systems.
Configure, administer and develop Salesforce.com and its solutions using declarative tools.
Design, develop test, troubleshoot, debug and document solutions throughout the development process and across the Salesforce platform including Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Salesforce Billing, etc.
In collaboration with business owners, develop an understanding of the business needs and requirements, providing Salesforce.com system expertise related to data, integration, security, and analytics.
Using technical knowledge of Dynatrace’s other business systems (NetSuite, Marketo, Boomi, Jira), evaluate solution and design options for Salesforce.com, providing recommendations to solve for business requirements, identify options with pros and cons, and provide work effort estimates.
Contribute suggestions regularly to peer solution design process and team-based proof of concept and demonstrations providing expertise where needed. Demonstrate solutions to peer team.
Write comprehensive documentation on business requirements, process flows, technical objects and release step details (change controls, data migrations, and step-by-step order of operations) as well as configuration and solution design.
Using software development lifecycle (SLDC) principles and Agile methodology, provide Salesforce subject expertise participating in sprint planning, story estimation, technical design documentation as well as release planning and execution.
What will help you succeed
7+ years of technical experience working with Salesforce.com product suite required. Previous experience with include Sales Cloud, managed packages, e.g. Configure Price Quote (CPQ), Salesforce Billing preferred.
Extensive Salesforce development technology experience required. Salesforce certifications preferred, e.g. Salesforce Admin, Specialist or Consultant paths.
Bachelors or Masters’ degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent preferred, but not required.
Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) required. Participation and ownership of product execution with Agile/ Scrum methodology preferred.
Knowledge of sales and service subscription-based SaaS business desired.
Ability to transform business requirements into technical solutions with a focus on data quality and implement them with other team members.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a concise easy-to-follow manner.
Quick learner with ability to solve problems expeditiously and understand impact to other environments.
Ability to adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision desired.
Experience implementing Quote to Cash system project a huge plus.
