Job Description
This role will be working with our EMEA team - we are looking for candidates living in the Eastern or Central time zones.
We are seeking an outgoing, organized and detail-oriented Sr Sales Operations Analyst to join our team as a key role in driving and supporting our Sales Incentive Plans program. This role contributes to driving sales effectiveness through responsibility for operational excellence for our Sales Incentive Program. The ideal candidate brings their practical experience with Sales Incentive Plans, as well as their energy to help implement processes and tools enhancements to support and scale with our growing team. Your amazing technical and organizational skills will put you in this visible role supporting sales the effectiveness of our rapidly growing global sales organization and will form the foundation for creating the critical bridge between our sales organization and our sales incentive program. Role & Responsibilities
Key participant in the development, management and implementation of sales compensation plans and programs, including implementation of Varicent
Liaison between the Sales organization and the Finance Commissions organization to ensure timely resolution of inquiries, exceptions, and adjustments
Manage the timely creation, distribution, and governance of our sales incentive compensation plans, including SOX compliance activities
Collaborate with finance and sales operations colleagues on quota allocation
Provide analyses and incentive plan related reporting to sales and operational leadership
Collaborate cross functionally with partners in Sales, Sales Operations, Finance, & HR to streamline efficiency and effectiveness of systems and processes
Partner with sales leadership and sales operations on sales organization changes and associated territory alignment and quota impacts
Key participant in producing education materials for sales incentive programs to sales organization
Contribute to defining and documenting Sales incentives policies and program documentation
Partner with Finance on commissions budget planning, forecasting and accruals
Provide analytical support and ad-hoc research and analysis on other related variable compensation projects or growth initiatives across Sales Operations
Qualifications
8-10 years of developing, implementing and/or administering incentive compensation programs. Sales Operations, Finance, and/or HR background in High Tech or Software is valuable
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field
Experience implementing new process and systems is preferred. Varicent experience is a big plus
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
Ability to independently manage deliverables with a high degree of accountability or organization
Expert level Excel skills
High level of comfort building reports and modeling within Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SQL, Tableau and/or other BI tools is a plus
