Technical Intern - Training and Enablement Intern

Your role at Dynatrace

We are looking for an Education, Computer Science or Business student with junior or senior level standing to join us this summer on our Training & Enablement Team. This is a full-time, paid internship.  

Responsibilities may include:  

  • Collaborate with the team on enablement initiatives 

  • Review, catalog, and tag learning materials. 

  • Review and test courses and lab instructions within virtual environments. 

  • Assist with educational materials refresh to new styles and marketing. 

  • Audio and video review and editing. 

  • Assist instructional design team with learning paths and course outlines. 

  • Create enablement content using various modalities such as authoring tools or learning management systems  

  • Facilitate enablement to various post-sales teams globally via live, interactive sessions  

  • Complete needs analysis for enablement projects to help identify gaps and strategize the best way to deliver targeted enablement for each post-sales role 

  • Report on various team initiatives to better understand enablement impact    

  • Audit existing enablement content and manage accuracy and updates 

The Technical Intern will partner with enablement managers, instructional designers and content creators and will gain hands-on industry experience in the technical learning & development and SaaS fields simultaneously.  

What will help you succeed

Required Qualifications: 

  • Education: Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Business or a similar field of study  

  • Local to Detroit and able to come to the office on a hybrid work model. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Work experience: 0-1 Years 

  • Considering a career in Corporate Education or High-tech industry (non-technical/programming)  

  • Some familiarity with Microsoft office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel 

  • Some familiarity with adult learning principles 

  • Some familiarity with graphic design 

  • Interested in discovering more about learning and development within technology 

  • Desire to educate yourself on new technologies and industry trends  

  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment  

  • Strong communication, presentation and facilitation skills

  • Detroit, MI / Hybrid Work Model 

  • Fully Remote may be considered for the right candidate but location in Eastern Time Zone is preferred
