Your role at Dynatrace
As the Strategic Lead for our Product Compliance and Certification (PCC) team, you will be the strategic driver for our global compliance, certifications, and accreditations efforts. You will guide the development and implementation of the certification strategy across highly regulated industries, ensuring that our products meet both legal and customer needs in relation to data privacy, security, and industry-specific regulations.
Drive the strategy for global certifications, accreditations, and data privacy compliance, ensuring alignment with both Dynatrace’s innovation goals and regulatory requirements.
Understand the nuances of accreditation and regulatory processes compared to feature development, and balance these with product innovations.
Lead and collaborate across teams including R&D, Legal, Sales, and Marketing to foster cooperation, drive outcomes, and ensure our product certifications meet internal goals and customer demands.
Work closely with customers to understand how certification and compliance align with their operational needs while factoring in the limitations and dependencies of our product.
Mentor and support the Product Compliance and Certification (PCC) team, providing guidance, problem-solving, and helping allocate workloads effectively.
Own the end-to-end journey for obtaining critical certifications and meeting data privacy requirements, from understanding regulatory standards to coordinating efforts across teams.
Use your technical expertise to interpret how requirements will impact our products and workflows, ensuring that solutions align with both certification needs and technical feasibility.
Be a customer advocate, balancing Dynatrace’s product ambitions with customer requirements and expectations related to compliance.
What will help you succeed
What will help you succeed
7+ years of experience in product management or leadership roles, particularly in compliance or regulatory certification across highly regulated industries like finance, healthcare, public sector, or cloud technology.
Proven ability to develop global strategies for product compliance and certifications in the SaaS or cloud software space.
Deep understanding of data privacy regulations, security standards, and accreditation processes, including navigating frameworks like ISO, GDPR, FedRAMP, SOC 2, or HIPAA.
Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (legal, product management, development, and marketing) to achieve cross-functional goals.
Strong leadership in mentoring and guiding teams, with the ability to allocate resources and balance workloads effectively.
Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, particularly in complex, compliance-heavy environments.
Demonstrated ability to balance business and technical requirements, and to distill complex regulatory requirements into actionable product roadmaps.
Comfortable engaging directly with customers to understand their needs and communicate how Dynatrace’s certifications and compliance efforts address those requirements.
Passionate about technology, especially in areas like cloud computing, AI, data security, and SaaS products.
