Job Description

We are looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our Corporate Marketing team. This role will be responsible for supporting our organic social media program through several initiatives that include our branded social channels, employee advocacy program, and industry events. 

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for social media and the value it brings to an organization and the teams within it. They will be collaborative, creative, and comfortable engaging with everyone – from internal leaders to customers. This is a perfect role for an individual who enjoys creating fun, authentic, and engaging experiences that can grow an online community and drive business opportunities. 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain social media content calendar, coordinating content with stakeholders across the organization including PR/Communications, Events, Product, Talent Acquisition, etc. 

  • Collaborate with our internal brand team on the development of creative assets to be used across social media channels, that align with platform best practices and brand guidelines 

  • Assist in the management of our employee advocacy program 

  • Perform social listening relevant to our brand, competitors, and industry to identify opportunities for engagement and/or intervention to escalate to appropriate team members 

  • Aid in the production of monthly/quarterly reporting that highlights social media performance 

  • Edit short video content suitable for quick consumption across social media channels 

  • Ensure the compliance of our social media policy  

  • Educate team members on social media best practices 

  • Help drive the social media planning and on-site activation for our annual customer conference, Perform and other key field events 

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of social media experience 

  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously  

  • Active and proficient on social media platforms 

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills – confident in ability to engage with team, internal stakeholders, leadership and our larger Dynatrace community 

  • Experience utilizing social media tools such as Sprout Social, SocialBakers, Bitly, and Restream 

  • Familiarity with employee advocacy programs 

  • Analytics oriented – can take in data, interpret/communicate the story and make strategic recommendations  

  • Experience with Google Analytics is a plus
