Technical Writer (m/f/x)

Your role at Dynatrace

Are you tech-savvy? Do you enjoy writing and can explain complex concepts in simple words? Are you a person who can understand both developers and users of software? Then this work is for you! 

As a Technical Writer you’ll own several product areas and work autonomously to deliver the documentation for them.

  • You’ll create concise product explanations that non-technical users can easily grasp. 

  • You’ll use a markdown-based static site system to deliver the content. 

  • You’ll be the first adopter of Dynatrace. 

  • You’ll use your technical knowledge to navigate and document complex use cases. 

  • You’ll be a user advocate by serving as a proxy between the users and the product development. 

  • You’ll work within a global R&D team with offices in Austria, Poland, Spain, Estonia, and the US.

What will help you succeed

  • Ability to learn quickly and drive to learn constantly. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Superb level of English. 

  • Ability to produce clear, precise, and conversational copy for the web. 

  • Creative ability to turn technical information into compelling stories. 

  • Experience in creating user and developer-oriented documentation for software. 

  • Experience in communicating effectively with stakeholders across the organization. 

  • Experience with Agile software development. 

  • Basic knowledge of Markdown, Git, Jira, and PowerShell. 

  • Knowledge of cloud technologies is beneficial.

Compensation and rewards

  • We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.   

  • Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to this position, which is EUR 40,600 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
