Join the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) and actively contribute to the future of Dynatrace. The OSPO is a multidisciplinary team of experts working with internal stakeholders, partners, cloud vendors, communities, and key customers to learn about emerging technologies early and make sure that Dynatrace is always ahead of the game. Some examples of the projects and organizations we are involved in keptn, Monitoring-as-Code (Monaco), OpenTelemetry, CNCF/CDF, CD Events, internal open source, and InnerSource initiatives.
In your role, you will work closely with the Open Source Program Office Program manager and other members of the OSPO. You will support over 500 developers to easily create, contribute, and maintain cloud-native open-source projects by improving processes and workflows. Collaborating with teams to advise them and help grow their projects and to create and interact with the community. You should be interested in learning about automation and metrics for open-source projects, to make the process as simple and as secure as possible.
Maintain and improve the structure of our GitHub Organizations, e.g. dynatrace, dynatrace-oss.
Create and maintain automations for our open-source projects.
Work together with members of the Open Source Program Office on technical programs.
Document and communicate our work to the rest of the community and company.
Explore and test new technologies, to see how we can best leverage them.
Continuously improve the workflow for open source projects.
Participate in implementing and promoting best open source and InnerSource collaboration practices withing the community and inside the company.
Technical education (Computer Science, Business Informatics or similar) or equivalent field experience.
Deep understanding of open-source practices and communities. Experience with leading initiatives in open source will be a plus.
Experience managing GitHub Repositories and/or organizations at scale.
Experience with implementing automation in open source (e.g. probot, GitHub Apps and Actions, GitHub Checks API, GitHub Package registry ...).
Experience with other automation, orchestration and CI/CD tools would be a plus, especially Keptn, Jenkins, Artifactory, or Docker.
Working independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations.
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary according to the collective agreement for this position, which is EUR 60,000 gross per year (based on full-time). We offer a market conform salary in line with qualifications and experience.
