Job Description

Dynatrace University is seeking a Business Operations Coordinator, under the general guidance of the Program Manager, to focus on remote customer interactions around registration, payment, pre-class preparation, and post-class follow-up for strategic internal and external facing learning initiatives such as strategic learning path, standard virtual Instructor-Led Training events, or custom training events.  This role is responsible for the global coordination and tracking of the virtual and on-site classroom learning experience for both the Dynatrace platform and Dynatrace advanced topic and concept training.  This role also focuses on the registration, payment and overall experience for Dynatrace proctored certifications globally. As a result of the person performing the role well, customers will engage in repeated education services and in turn continue to increase their desire for continued use of existing and new Dynatrace products and services. 

Responsibilities:

  • Arranges customer, partner, and employee training across all global regions: EMEA, APAC, NORAM, and LATAM.

  • Works with customers to ascertain training needs and recommends training solutions, may consult with sales engineers, consultants, and other support organization members to better understand customer requirements and needs.

  • Responsible for leading customers through the purchasing of education services.

  • Interpret the intent of the contracts or documents with the customer and be able to understand and articulate the customer’s concerns when consulting with internal legal counsel. Redlining.

  • Interpret and ascertain the level of importance of changes to terms and conditions and the willingness of the company to negotiate product and Services pricing.

  • Determines/discerns appropriate circumstances to identify appropriate revenue channel - credit card, Flexpoint, contract, or promotions.

  • Works with services to reconcile customer accounts on a monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Work with accounting on a monthly and quarterly basis to audit and identify cross-charges internally which will require journal entries across departments.

  • Communication with customers, partners, and employees around their pre-training virtual and classroom readiness.

  • Follow-up with customers after their virtual or on-site classroom experience.

  • Answer customer, partner, and employee questions about classroom education and certification.

  • Schedule and prepare with Product SMEs for an exceptional classroom experience.

  • Track and update student learning and certification records.

  • Weekly and monthly student learning and certification reporting.

  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly revenue reporting and recognition activities with Finance and Accounting.

Qualifications

  • 4 Year Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Experience with a tech organization

  • Experience communicating with clients and team members with many different tools and methods

  • Ability to work independently while remaining an efficient member of a cross-functional team 

  • Highly organized and motivated with excellent follow-through, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills 

  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint for communication, tracking, and reporting

  • Ability to quickly provide analytical views of data for business reporting and decision making 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to be flexible, foster teamwork, and adapt to changing environments

  • No travel is expected with this position.

  • Home office is Detroit, MI but candidates can work remotely
