As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be our first interaction point with future customers. Gain the opportunity to work closely with our top performing Account Executives to generate demand for our Digital Performance Management platform while also qualifying leads from our innovative marketers. Generate pipeline for our Sales teams all the way to close!
To launch your sales career at Dynatrace, we’ll equip you with the right skills with a 3-week SDR bootcamp.
In this bootcamp you will:
Participate in workshops including roleplays to develop proficiency in outbound calling
Train around objection handling and persona-based questioning strategies to learn how to generate meaningful dialogues with prospects
Learn to write personalized and persona-based emails and LinkedIn messages at scale
Acquire knowledge on fundamentals of modern IT infrastructure, application lifecycle and the key personas involved, and the monitoring and observability industry and how Dynatrace stands out
Utilize best practices with tools including Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
Mentorship Program: New SDRs are paired up with existing SDRs to help them onboard and answer any questions they may have. This is a great opportunity for new hires to build stronger relationships with their peers right from the start.

Experience using a CRM (Salesforce.com preferred)

The Sales Development Representative Program is designed to prepare you for a career in tech sales. Throughout your time as a Sales Development Representative, you’ll gain real-world sales experience communicating directly with customers and prospects to solve their largest tech issues. The most common next step in an SDR journey is a promotion to an Account Executive role. In fact, many of our sales leaders began their careers as an SDR!
However, your career path is not just limited to sales. There are various opportunities to progress your career within the Sales Development organization from SDR, to Senior SDR or Team Lead, to SDR Manager, and beyond. Alternatively, the experience you gain as an SDR prepares you for an internal move to teams such as Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Partner Programs, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, and more. The opportunities are endless and immense, and can take you to places you never expected.
