Senior Product Security Engineer (m/f/x)

Job Description:
•    As a member of our Product Security Engineering team, you will work closely with software engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to collectively ensure our product achieves cutting-edge security standards. 
•    You will collaborate with software engineering teams to perform security reviews and create threat models for our product. You will identify security enhancements and assist the teams in implementing these improvements. 
•    You will ensure robust and consistent security mechanisms across all engineering teams by offering guidance, answering technical security questions, and actively driving security improvements for our most critical features. 
•    You will contribute to automating and scaling our software security initiatives across the organization, ensuring that our security measures are both highly effective and seamlessly integrated. 
•    You will contribute to a dynamic security community by fostering a security culture and collaborating with passionate individuals dedicated to enhancing security at Dynatrace. You will also participate in regular security community events, such as workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions. 
•    You will be at the forefront of shaping and advancing the security strategy and roadmap within your area of responsibility.

What will help you succeed

Qualifications  
•    Extensive professional experience as Security Engineer or similar 
•    Strong understanding in at least one of the following areas: web application security, cloud security, Kubernetes security, container security, operating system security, or secure coding  
•    Ability to explain complex security topics and risks in a non-technical manner to a diverse range of stakeholders  
•    Familiarity with security aspects of a secure development lifecycle (including secure coding, automated security testing, threat modeling)  
•    Familiarity with secure design principles, software development best practices and security tools (SDLC) -  SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning, etc.  

 

Desirable Experience:
•    Software development experience 
•    A security mindset that values collaboration, automation, scalability, continuous improvement and proactivity
