Web Developer - DevOps Focus (m/f/x)

Join our dynamic Digital Marketing team as a Sr. Web Developer (DevOps Focus) and play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the lifecycle of www.dynatrace.com. You will spearhead the creation of innovative, resilient solutions and applications that support daily operations and drive future initiatives. While the role integrates key DevOps Engineering principles to ensure operational excellence, our primary focus is on recruiting a highly skilled web developer who is eager to embrace and enhance these practices.
Day to day responsibilities
· Self-Driven Development: Lead autonomous TypeScript development through the complete lifecycle—from building and testing new components to deploying pipelines using infrastructure as code (IaC).
· Project Ownership: Proactively scope, drive, and execute projects, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure solutions.
· Collaborative Engineering: Engage in code reviews, provide and receive constructive feedback, and maintain close alignment with team standards and best practices.
· Integrated Cloud Practices: Apply Cloud principles to enhance system reliability and performance, leveraging monitoring solutions like Dynatrace, ensuring that operational excellence complements your web development expertise.
What will help you succeed
Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in web development, primarily using TypeScript.
· Proficiency in developing frontend components using frameworks such as React or Vue and styling with Tailwind CSS.
· Experience with Content Management Systems, preferably CraftCMS.
· At least 2+ years’ experience with one hyperscaler, preferably AWS.
· Proven experience in cloud practices and building/maintaining distributed systems.
· Solid understanding and hands-on experience with CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins).
· Experience with observability solutions like Dynatrace.
· Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of translating technical concepts to management and peers.
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
Nice to Have:
· Exposure to AWS services including CloudFront, ECS, S3, and RDS.
· Experience building serverless functions using Lambda@Edge and CloudFront.
· Competence in managing infrastructure with Jenkins files and shell scripts.
· Exposure to infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform.
· Good understanding of security principles.

We offer attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options with numerous benefits and advantages.
Due to legal reasons, we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position, which is € 48.000 gross per year based on full-time employment. We offer a higher salary in line with qualifications and experience.
